One of our biggest up and coming brands here on Red Supps is InnovaPharm. With cutting edge, clinically dosed formulas, on-point flavouring, and no corner cutting, we love this brand for the serious athlete who has had enough with the cookie cutter, watered down formulas available on the market today.
Leading the charge for InnovaPharm is their MVP Pre, meant to supercharge your training experience with a deluge of blood in your muscles, and electric shock of CNS stimulation, and tunnel-vision focus. Here’s a quick ingredient breakdown for MVP Pre 2.0:
Supplement Facts
Niacin – 15mg
Vit B12 – 1000mcg
Citrulline Malate – 8000mg
Beta Alanine – 3200mg
GlycerPump – 2000mg
S7 – 50mg
Choline Bitartrate – 1000mg
N-acetyle L Tyrosine – 500mg
Caffeine Anhydrous – 350mg
BioPhytum Extract – 150mg
Eria Jarensis – 100mg
Huperzine A – 150mcg
With micronutrient and BioPhytum support, this formula leads with a massive dose of Citrulline Malate. Saturating the muscles with Citrulline Malate dramatically increases NO production, causing a significant enhancement of site-specific bloodflow. Citrulline has also been shown to increase endurance by helping buffer lactic acid production, delaying the ‘burn’.
Like most hard-hitting formulas, MVP Pre has a full clinical dose of beta alanine. In studies, beta alanine is shown to increase muscle carnosine levels and improve the productivity of anaerobic exercise like weight lifting.
One of the highlights of this formula is a full 2g of glycerol in GlycerPump. Glycerol works to pull more water into the muscle cell, maximizing intracellular hydration, which in turn pulls more glucose into the cell in the form of glycogen. Increasing muscle cell size by default also proportionally increases the level of protein synthesis in the cell - leading to improved recovery time, and most importantly, fuller and bigger muscles.
InnovaPharm pulls no punches with their nootropic formula. All good nootropic blends need a source of choline. Acetylcholine is a neurotransmitter that makes you feel ‘locked in’ and focused. Drugs like nicotine for example, raise acetylcholine levels, while ‘drowsy’ antihistamine drugs lower it.
Choline bitartrate at 1000mg gives the brain a nice supply of acetylcholine to use, which will synergize with the rest of the blend to profoundly increase focus, and ultimately dopamine in the brain. What’s even better is, not only do they include a nice source of choline in this formula, but they include 150mcg of huperzine A - a potent inhibitor of the enzyme that breaks down acetylcholine in the brain.
N-Acetyl-tyrosine is straight up dopamine fuel. It’s a form of tyrosine that more readily crosses the blood-brain-barrier. Tyrosine is converted to L-Dopa which is then converted to dopamine in the brain. So NAT, as it’s called, gives your brain the raw dopamine fuel it needs to make your efforts feel euphoric and dialed-in.
And we haven’t even got to the stimulants yet! Caffeine is nicely dosed here at 350mg for a few reasons. One, caffeine increases levels of adrenaline - norepinephrine and epinephrine in the nervous system. In synergy with the other nootropic and vitamin ingredients, giving the brain a nice boost of adrenaline helps feed the Tyrosine-Dopamine pathway, giving more ‘raw dopamine fuel’ for the brain to convert into ‘feel-good’ chemicals. Two, caffeine has been shown in studies to dramatically improve exercise performance.
For the icing on the cake, MVP Pre includes 100mg of Eria Janesis Extract, known to produce euphoric stimulation, improved endurance, and tunnel-vision focus.
These ingredients are all fantastic by themselves, but in a synergized formula like the one found in MVP Pre 2.0, they make for one of the most well-rounded pre-workout formulas we’ve seen in a long time.
